A Pain Patient’s Perspective on Trust and Pain Contracts

Carlton Haywood Jr. explains how he, as a medical researcher and chronic pain patient, views trust issues that arise between medical professionals and those in pain, noting the one-sided nature of opioid contracts, which seem to place no responsibility on physicians yet great expectations on patients.
