Terry was quoted extensively in a Kansas City Star editorial, “Cerner is helping create ‘COVID-19 passports.” Will they be a reverse scarlet letter?” The editorial states that Terry said (without direct quotes), that “the pros of a COVID-19 immunity certification probably outweigh the cons – albeit ‘with a good bit of hesitancy.’ But, he adds, while immunity to the coronavirus is likely to be required internationally – and that’s a good thing – the best course domestically might simply be patience: In another three months, enough of the population may be immunized to make the debate over passports moots on the home front.”
